The plugin will only work in a Wordpress installation on a site that you host (not Wordpress.com).

I think I’m going to modify it a little to allow WordpressMu compatbility and quote choosing by individual blog’s owner.

If you managed to do it first wonk :)

    Best and thanks.

great stuff, looking forward to getting it organized on my blog, is it hard to add quotes or make my own quote file?

It’s very simple, just look at one of the available files.

Jauhari: I haven’t migrated to 2.1 yet, so I can’t say for sure. That being said, I’d be surprised if it didn’t work, I don’t believe they made changes to the login/logout coding.

The JFP Login/Logout and Register plugins do NOT work with 2.1.

I was so looking forward to trying them out…

I’ll bring up a test instance of 2.1 this weekend and see if I can get my plugins working with it.

can’t get the widget to work in the sidebar, but can get the quotes to show in the footer. perhaps a 2.1 problem, I’ve tried several widgets which won’t work in 2.1.

I’ve tested most of the plugins, and so far all are working fine with 2.1. Paul, if it’s not working for you, my first suggestion is that you may be copy/pasting the code from my page, which I just realized copies ’smart quotes’, which don’t work. Replace the curly apostrophes with straight ones and it should work. I’m going turn off the smart quotes so it won’t be a problem in the future.

    Joe,

I’m probably missing something really simple. I downloaded & unzipped the files and put them into the plugin’s directory. They’re activated. I can’t seem to find where to manage them? Or do I modify the .php itself?

Aletta: I just installed both of my widgets in a 2.1 test site and they came up fine. Did you follow the installation procedure in the readme file? If so, where along the line is the first sign things aren’t working right?

    Paul: You’ve got mail…
